The powers cultivated in the dance are the fruit of the dance the adornments worn by the dancers in the form of amulets, costumes with their various colors and cut are to enhance the energy signature created by the dancers themselves. Think yoga, each yoga position has the purpose channeling energy in to a specific area of the body for the purpose of revitalization and regeneration, the frequency of the energy cultivated becomes the radiating aura that manifests outside as inside, above and below, this is the process of cultivating the Ashe spoken of. Each dance contains its own characteristics specific demeanor, manner, emotional expression and musical accompaniment for the soul purpose of moving the spirit, mind and body in a specific manner to a specific end. It is not dance just for the sake of dance nor cultivating merely for cultivations sake. The process, with it mechanisms and methods contained within are to be directed in away that is suitable to effect circumstances, create realities, to move with, cause to be moved, stored and also moved by in a way particular to ones unique way.-Carlos Thompson
